Jesus tells us in Matthew 6 to “give no thought” to what we will eat, or drink, or wear. Doesn’t He know that’s a large part of what I do every day?
I have a home full of hungry people. I feed them and soon I hear, “Mom, what’s for supper?”
My kids are involved in soccer, football, and JROTC. They’re always asking, “Mom, where’s my uniform? Did you wash it?” or “Mom, I need new cleats. These are too small.”
What’s a mom to do? I would love to “give no thought” to what we are going to eat, drink and wear, but if I don’t who will?
What did Jesus mean? What is He asking of us? What does it look like to “Seek the Kingdom of God” when I’m constantly bombarded with the needs of this world? Those are questions we will tackle in today’s podcast.
