What we focus on shapes us. Our thoughts are power What we focus on shapes us.
Our thoughts are powerful.

What we choose to focus on shapes how we feel and how we walk through our days. That’s why Scripture calls us to renew our minds, to think on what is true, noble, pure, and lovely.

When we rehearse only what’s wrong, we stay discouraged. But when we make room to remember God’s goodness—His presence, His provision, His promises—we find strength.

David said in Psalm 27:13, “I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”

That was a declaration. A choice to believe that even here—even now—God is good, and His goodness is visible if we’ll train our eyes to see it.

We don’t have to wait for a different season to be encouraged. We can ask God to show us His goodness right here in the one we’re living.
Some seasons are for blooming. Others are for expa Some seasons are for blooming.
Others are for expanding your roots.

This week on the Grace for My Home podcast, I’m re-sharing one of my most-listened-to episodes:
🌿 Like a Tree Planted by Rivers of Living Water.

Because when the world feels shaky and dry, God’s Word reminds us—
You don’t have to bloom to be faithful. You just have to stay planted.

God designed it for us—not to restrict us, but to bless us. When I neglect rest, everything suffers—my attitude, my patience, even my faith.

And when I rest, even in small ways, I create space for God’s peace to settle in my heart again.
Does God still speak? Yes. And not just to “spir Does God still speak?
Yes.
And not just to “spiritual people”—He speaks to you.

Some lessons are worth repeating...
This week, I’m sharing my most-listened-to episode of Grace for My Home:
“Take Care of Yourself So You Can Take Care of Those You Love.”

Because motherhood is beautiful—but it’s also draining.
And sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is take a nap, drink some water, and ask for help.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish.
It’s how we keep showing up in love, again and again.

💛 If you’ve been feeling worn down or stretched too thin, I pray this one blesses you.
